(Al-Addariyath) 51 : 29
فَأَقْبَلَتِ امْرَأَتُهُ فِي صَرَّةٍ فَصَكَّتْ وَجْهَهَا وَقَالَتْ عَجُوزٌ عَقِيمٌ
Then his household came forward producing an astonishing sound, then she struck her face and said: "For a barren old woman!"
Sara, who was in extreme desire to have a child, while hearing the Glad Tidings to Ibrahim about a child, came forward, surprisingly making an astonishing sound and asked: "How can there be a child for a barren woman?" See explanation 11: 72; 36: 55; and 37: 22.
